Our very first franchisee branch of Refill Revolution is based in the beautiful town of Oundle, Northamptonshire. Located at Oundle Wharf our little (and it is tiny!) refill shop might be small, but it is perfectly formed for all your zero-waste shopping needs!

Oundle is steeped in history and beauty; the picture-perfect market town setting with enviable period properties, on the edge of rolling countryside. So we actually couldn’t think of anywhere better for a Refill Revolution shop! Shopping locally and plastic-free seems entirely fitting to such a warm and traditional setting.

Oundle Wharf is located on Station Road at the edge of town, where a collection of small and local businesses all reside in a converted barge storage space on the canal wharf. It’s a vibrant and exciting way to repurpose a disused building, enabling a thriving community to develop between the businesses present, and customers alike.

With Nene Valley Brewery, Tap & Kitchen, Gorilla Cycling, Amps Wine Merchants, Restore Health & Beauty, and Hambleton Bakery all located at the Wharf. It’s a charming and welcoming setting to do a spot of shopping and enjoy lunch by the water at the same time! Delightful.

Here, Refill Revolution Oundle have an ever-expanding product range that increases by the day! Alongside the rows and rows of all your favourite dry foods (so think pasta, cereal, rice, nuts, dried fruit, spices and pulses), their offer for every day, eco-swap items broadens constantly. Charlotte and the team love to chat about products you've tried, to help shape the items they stock next.

Meet The Team.

Our wonderful team at Oundle have a wealth of experience when it comes to shopping sustainably. Each coming from a very different background, they bring a broad, cross-section of expertise between them. So no matter how far along the eco-journey you are, one of the team will be on a similar path!

They are…

Charlotte - Charlotte is the owner of our Oundle franchise and really passionate about sustainable living. Being a working mum to a little one, she understands juggling eco choices with a busy, family life. After a career in marketing with large, national businesses, she lost faith with the impersonal and often empty values behind such brands. A move into teaching, and teaching yoga classes, along with starting a family, has lead her to a more meaningful approach to life and work - combining both here at Refill! She’s loving learning about this new way of life, and is most happy chatting to customers about topics other than dragons, knights, and poop! Living in a house full of boys needs a little balance at times.

Charlie - Charlie is also a mum, and is the price-savvy member of the team! She is always keen to help people shopping on a budget. After a career in childcare, and being fairly new to the refilling way, she’s loving learning all about it! Being a close friend of Charlotte, she actually introduced her to the Refill Revolution ethos. Super organised, efficient, and tidy - she’s never seen without a smile. That background in childcare comes in very handy!

Marion - Marion is our eco-queen! After learning the joys of growing your own from her grandmother as a child, she has always used natural products whenever possible whilst raising her family. After then growing her own fruit and veg (with varying levels of success at times!) and always opting for organic, she’s our go-to for cookery advice and greener choices. She’s also very knowledgeable about our chocolate range!

The team are warm, friendly, and extremely helpful. We know this refilling malarkey is confusing and strange at first! So do they. But they’re there to help answer any random questions you might have, there’s very little they can’t handle!

The Oundle team have worked really hard to nurture a community of other local businesses at the Wharf, too. Their Fresh Fridays are now legendary; whereby other local producers have regular pop up stalls for the day, including -

  •  Farrells fish - for sustainably caught fresh fish from Grimsby.

  • Proganics - for organic, local milk served in glass bottles, cheese, and serving hot Jute coffee!

  • The Blonde Beet - for delicious plant-based meals and snacks.

  • Pywells - for fresh eggs.

  • Buttercups Florist - for beautiful British blooms.

Perfect for a little Friday treat, and fantastic as an alternative to the supermarket. Fresh, local, ethical and sustainable produce for your weekly shop? We’re all in.

Refill Revolution Oundle is open Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 9-4pm, and Thursday 9-12pm.
